Pages for staff workshops and training

Hi colleagues,

Our eLearning and eTeaching training series this semester will be delivered via blended approach using flipped learning pedagogy to maximize effectiveness of our one hour practicals. This simply means that you will be required to engage in teaching and learning resources and activities on this page before the actual hands on sessions.  Read, watch videos and ask questions before the face-to-face training.

This methodology will allow us to pinpoint where your strengths and weaknesses are and use the one hour practical to solve problems, rather than to find them.

Also, keep your eyes open for "What should I prepare and/or bring to the practical session?" so that you can come prepared for the practical session.

For example:

Topic: Moodle quiz activity module

Please do: Watch videos, check out links and readings, post questions in discussion forums, and prepare quiz questions in advance.

Please don't: Turn up at a practical session with no questions to add to the Moodle quiz.

thanks!!

Thanks so much.

Have fun!

There are excellent modules available on this page to support colleagues in delivering content in blended and online teaching mode.

Here we explore open technologies outside, and lean how to integrate these into our system.

In response to queries posted in the discussion forum, resources will be added to the page.
