PG420 International and Regional Security
Security is a pivotal concept in the study of
international relations. States and non-state actors operate in an anarchic
self-help international system where states depend on themselves and the
international or regional security systems they have created with their allies
to survive. In this unit, you are to study contemporary security issues that
pose a threat to all states, non-state entities, and human beings around the
world. You are to appraise the international, regional, or national security
strategies used by PNG or other countries to address these contemporary
security issues and attempt to propose workable solutions
