RS238 Christian Anthropology
Welcome to Unit RS238 - Christian Anthropology.
This unit explores the key themes found in the four Gospels, highlighting the many dimensions of Jesus’ humanity and divinity. Through these themes, we seek to understand the fullness of humanity revealed in Jesus Christ. God's redemptive action through Jesus brings reconciliation not only to the human person but also to the whole of creation. Viewing this profound salvific encounter through a Melanesian understanding of Christ enriches and strengthens our appreciation of what it means to be human in Melanesia.
Our country provides the context in which we live and express our faith. As Christians and Melanesians, we are called to reflect on how these two identities shape and enrich one another.
How do you make sense of your Christian and Melanesian identity through the lens of faith?
As you journey through this unit, I wish you great joy in learning and discovering that faith and reason complement one another in the search for truth and understanding.
Blessings,
Limu Mou-Vagi
