Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the world we live
in. From using generative AI for schoolwork to dealing with
misinformation and befriending AI chatbots, students have a lot to
consider when it comes to this ever-evolving technology.
CLT is pleased to offer an instructor-led online course on AI Literacy for Students.
This online course includes a collection of quick lessons that provide
an introduction to AI and help address its social and ethical impacts,
as well as academic integrity with reference to our University academic
policies.
Through these lessons, students will:
1️⃣ Understand what AI is and how it works
2️⃣ Consider some of its potential benefits and risks
3️⃣ Think critically about how we can be responsible and ethical users of AI
Our facilitators will introduce the topic each week and learner is
expected to complete each interactive lesson activity, specific task or
participate in a forum discussion. Learner is required to join a Zoom
webinar every second week of the course and complete the required lesson
activities to earn a Certificate of Completion.
Students are encouraged to join by registering via this LINK.
COURSE STARTS 12th AUGUST
Once you register, you will receive an email with a passcode to self-enrol to the course on Moodle.
