Dear Staff/Students,

We welcome you to the new Moodle platform. Moodle use in DWU has evolved over the years and we have now moved from Moodle version 3.5 to Moodle 3.9 learning management system. A result of DWU's efforts to provide the best digital teaching and learning experience.

For ease of accessibility, the same 'theme' used in the previous platform is still used. Here are some new features available to all users.

• You can now add H5P activities and make them gradable.
• There’s an improved search and filtering interface for participants
• The navigation within Books has been simplified to make them easier to use
• The Atto editor has received some accessibility improvements
• Selected links are now much clearer – another accessibility win
• Moodle now has a “go to top” link at the bottom of each page – a relief for mouse wheels!
• Bulk deletion is now available for private files.
• SEB is now fully integrated! A feature we use in our quizzes and exams.
• Self-enrollment has been disabled by CLT, you have to be enrolled into your class either by your lecturer in charge or CLT according to your study plan.
